BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The City of Palm Bay is seeking public comment on updates to the comprehensive plan.
As part of Palm Bay’s Global Plan Update, the City will host two public workshops to discuss the purpose of the Global Plan, determine why the update process is important, and provide a platform allowing community members to identify what they would do. would like to see in the contents of the Plan.
The dates of the workshops are as follows:
■ Workshop #1: Introduction to Full Plan Update – August 25
■ Workshop #2: Current plan – November 10
The public workshops will be held in the Palm Bay City Council Chambers, located at 120 Malabar Road SE, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
For those unable to attend the meeting in person, the workshops will also be available online and residents will have the opportunity to interact virtually.
Those interested in participating virtually can tune in at 6:00 p.m. at tinyurl.com/PalmBayPlanUpdate.
Residents and stakeholders who are unable to attend the public meeting in person or virtually, but wish to provide input, may participate using one of the online tools located on the Global Plan webpage of Palm Bay Vision at www.pbfl.org/vision.
Residents and community stakeholders are invited to visit the webpage to participate in an interactive mapping tool and prioritization exercise.
The Global Plan is a long-term plan that will guide the City’s future actions through clearly stated goals, objectives and policies. These policies inform local decision-making and set the tone for the future growth and development of the community.
