MP Auto Expo; 1,400 Indian motor industry bigwigs invited

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): To make the first edition of the MP Auto Expo a great show, invitations were sent out to over 1,400 bigwigs from the Indian automotive industry. Online delegate registration has been rolled out. Above all, the exhibition will be open to everyone, and from two-wheelers to high-end car models will be on display.

The state government has assigned the responsibility of organizing the event to its industry development agency, the MP State Industrial Development Corporation (MPSIDC). The partners of the event are CII, Ernst and Young (EY), National Automotive Test Tracks (NATRAX), Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), Automobile Component Manufacturers’ Association of India (ACMA) and Pithampur Auto Cluster Limited (PAC ) .

“From top to bottom, the officers of the MPSIDC and its regional offices located in the city as well as the partners of the event are working overtime, even on public holidays, to make the event a success, because there are not left only 12 days for the show to start. It is expected to be held from April 28-30 at the Super Corridor, as well as at the NATRAX site in Pithampur,” official sources said on Saturday.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will inaugurate the event at a specially prepared venue at the Super Corridor on April 28. Some central ministers are also likely to attend the event, but their confirmation is awaited. During the two-and-a-half-day show, there will be sessions on relevant topics, which only delegates registered online are allowed to attend. In addition, business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-customer (B2C) meetings will also be held, sources said.

Invitations have been sent to more than 1,400 auto industry bigwigs across the country, of whom about 1,000 are likely to attend the show. Among them, the most important are Maruti Suzuki, Honda India, Mahindra and Mahindra, Eicher-Volvo, John Deer, Ford Motors, etc.

The exhibition will attract young people

On the first day of the show, CM Chouhan will inaugurate the automobile exhibition on April 28, a stone’s throw from the Place du Super Corridor. It will be open until April 30 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Admission to the exhibition is free to encourage greater participation from young people from schools and colleges, as from high-end bikes to high-end cars will be on display
