Fusion Art Announces Winners of 7th Annual Landscape Art Exhibition


Santa Fe, New Mexico, United States – May 11, 2022 – Fusion Art is pleased to announce the opening of the 7th Annual International Landscape Art Exhibition. The exhibition is now available on the Fusion Art website and features awards in three categories: traditional art, digital art, and photography and three-dimensional art.

For this exhibition, 2D and 3D artists from around the world were invited to submit their best works of art and photographs depicting landscapes. All artists, regardless of location or experience, were encouraged to submit their work in any medium.

The winners of the 7th Annual Best in Show Landscapes are John Shimmin for his watercolour, “Colorado River at the Grand Canyon”, Daniel Forster for his photography, “Bright Autumn” and Karren Russo for his ceramic sculpture, “Listen to My Heart”. John, Daniel and Karen are Fusion Art’s featured artists for the month of May 2022 and, as Best in Show winners, all three artists are invited to participate in Fusion Art’s annual group show in Santa Fe, NM in 2023.

Other winners include second place winners Bruno and Shannon. Third place awards went to Sylvia Mallory and Garret Demarest. The fourth place prizes were awarded to Lance Bukove and Tao Jia. Fifth place awards went to Julia Doemland and Mal Keeble.

Rounding out the exhibition awards are eighteen honorable mention winners. Honorable mentions in the Traditional Art category went to Zhao hui Yang, Hunter Jay, Guo Zhen, Barbara Tabachnick, Patricia Gould, Joe Korepta, Jay Decker, Wang Jun, and Sylvia Audet.

Honorable mentions in the Photography and Digital category went to Sandra Pipken, Judy Belleci, Lynne Deutch, Robert Bolla, Mark Weller, Debra Behr, Barbara Mierau-Klein, Bingxuan Tan and Y. Hope Osborn.

The other finalists in the exhibition all exemplified unique creative talents and we are honored to feature their works on the Fusion Art website.

The international competition received a diverse collection of quality artwork from artists around the world, including the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, China, Hong Kong, Japan and South Africa. Overall, the gallery judged 344 entries and accepted 105 artworks into the exhibition, which will be featured on the website for the month of May.

Founded by award-winning artist Chris and Valerie Hoffman, Fusion Art was imagined and formed by a passion for art and the artists who create it. The website promotes and connects new, emerging and established artists with collectors and art enthusiasts, while providing the opportunity to participate in art competitions, exhibitions and experiences.

Each month and each quarter, Fusion Art organizes solo and group art competitions and exhibitions on a unique theme. Winners and runners-up enjoy global exposure, promoting their work through the Fusion Art website, in hundreds of press release announcements, email marketing, event calendars online, art news websites and through the gallery’s social media.
