Frontier Town to host Cave Creek Fine Art Market

For over 25 years, award-winning event promoter Vermillion Promotions has brought the best of the fine art world to Arizona, hosting events from Tubac to Prescott. In October, they will bring their unique fusion of fine art and western style to Cave Creek for their Fine Art Market, the first in a series of weekend art markets through April 2022.
Already one of Arizona’s most popular weekend destinations, Cave Creek lives up to its city’s motto, “Where the Old West Lives.” The pioneering spirit and native sensibility are particularly present in downtown Frontier Town, where the Fine Arts Market will be located.

Frontier Town prides itself on being one of the last strongholds of the Old West, using actual architecture from the 1870s as the basis for their storefronts and structures. The downtown area provides the perfect backdrop for the market’s eclectic array of southwestern and contemporary art.

The Cave Creek Fine Art Market will provide a vibrant outdoor setting, taking full advantage of Arizona’s balmy fall temperatures. The market will feature dozens of artists working in a wide variety of mediums including bronze sculptures, paintings, glassware, woodwork, ceramics, fine jewelry and more!

Among the featured artists will be Western sculptor Craig Bergsgaard. Originally from Colorado, Craig uses his knowledge of classical sculpture to capture, as he puts it, “the free spirits, adventurers, wanderers, and despots that made up the collective flavor of the time.” His sculpture brings the adventurous spirit of the early settlers of the Old West to life, while honoring the pride and history of the native inhabitants.

Vermillion Promotions will partner with a number of wineries across Arizona, as well as the San Francisco Chocolate Factory, to bring you “Everything Fine; Chocolate, Art and Wine ”!

The profits from the wine tasting will be donated to Horses Help. Event organizer Candy Vermillion says, “Horses Help is a great organization that provides therapeutic and recreational horseback riding opportunities for children and adults with physical, cognitive and behavioral challenges, including populations at risk. and the military. We are delighted to work with them as a wine charity!
The Cave Creek Fine Arts Market promises to bring together the arts communities of the Southwest in one of Arizona’s favorite weekend getaways. Be sure to visit the many shops, galleries, Western saloons, and hometown restaurants that abound in Cave Creek, as well as the world’s best art.
