Dalí and Banksy on display at Ireland’s largest sculpture exhibition

Ireland’s largest sculpture exhibition ever will feature works of art by Salvador Dalí, Andy Warhol and Banksy, worth a combined € 7 million.

The final touch is brought to Art and Soul, Holywood’s international art and sculpture fair at the five-star Culloden Estate and Spa in Belfast.

The Gormleys Fine Art event has been billed as the island’s largest post-containment art fair and will run from next Saturday to July 18.

The largest combined outdoor and indoor event of its kind in Ireland will feature the work of renowned sculptors Ian Pollock, Bob Quinn, Eamonn Ceannt, Orla de Bri, Sandra Bell and FE McWilliam, as well as an entire working room by Warhol and the exhibitions by masters such as Dalí, Banksy, Pablo Picasso, Damien Hirst and many others.

“This will be Gormleys Fine Art’s sixth major outdoor exhibition at Culloden and we are delighted to invite the public to enjoy these pieces by major Irish and international artists over the three weeks,” said Oliver Gormley, owner from Gormleys.

The event will feature 125 sculptures set in the 12 acres of landscaped grounds that stretch out towards the shores of Belfast Lough and the interiors of the Hastings Hotels Culloden Estate and Spa.

One of the highlights of the sculpture exhibition will be 30 works by famous Irish artist Patrick O’Reilly, split equally between 15 large garden works and the same number of indoor sculptures.

A special Teddy Bears’ Picnic installation will feature several of O’Reilly’s famous life-size bear sculptures.
