A Teacher’s Exhibition as an Artist is now online, in person through October 27

CATONSVILLE, MD – The Baltimore County Public Schools Annual Report Teacher as exhibition artist is on display online and at the School System Headquarters at Greenwood Mansion (BCPS Administration Building A), 6901 Charles Street, Towson, until Wednesday, October 27.

“Each school year, we host this exhibition of artwork from our art educators and BCPS staff,” said Ryan Twentey, BCPS Visual Arts Coordinator. “The exhibition highlights the skills and creativity of art educators who are also practicing artists. Artworks reflect the time these educators devote to improving their art, developing high levels of expertise which is then shared with our students.

“The artistic practices of our visual arts educators enrich the arts education they provide in our schools,” added BCPS Superintendent Darryl L. Williams. “I am continually impressed with their creativity and the many ways our art teachers encourage problem solving, innovation, communication, collaboration, and appreciation for self and others. “
